Caro was born and raised in Hinsdale, Illinois. She reached career high rankings of #21 in doubles and #102 in singles and is a two-time Grand Slam Semi-finalist (US Open and Wimbledon Doubles). Representing the US, she won a doubles gold medal and silver singles medal at the Pan American Games. She is an active ambassador for Special Olympics Illinois and has three siblings. Fun fact: Although all of the Dolehide siblings attended Hinsdale Central High School, Caroline was the only one without a state title. Caroline did not play high school tennis, but both Stephanie and Courtney won tennis state titles, while Brian won multiple golf state titles.
