Jose is a former professional tennis player. One of the best players in Dominican Republic history, Jose reached career high rankings of #179 in singles and #206 in doubles. He was an integral member of the Dominican Republic Davis Cup team, playing eighteen ties for his country and posting a 12-6 win/loss record. A University of North Carolina alum, Jose majored in Economics and is passionate about helping others through health and wellness, currently working on a functional medicine and health coaching degree. His life goals include launching a wellness center and high performance tennis program for underprivileged children and to leave the world a better place.
