Serving Up Hope Programs

  • We support more than 30 programs throughout the United States and in Uganda. Hundreds of children are impacted annually. Programs include instructor training, players learning the game in stages, and follow-up support.

  • Our Uganda team members are local and our coaches are trained to meet and exceed international standards.

Our domestic programs are built into local community programs that are already established. With the help of paid staff and volunteers, we can step in to provide high-quality tennis programs.

  • We are led by former two-time Grand Slam Champion, Vania King. We are one of the few tennis nonprofit organizations led by professional tennis players, ensuring the best quality of tennis development.

Why are we in these locations?

Most of our participants are living at or below the poverty line.

Our programs are geared toward children 4 to 16 years old, building self esteem, physical and athletic skills, and developing professional skills that support our participants in becoming successful members of society.

Through an expanding networking of pro-level tennis player ambassadors, volunteers, fundraisers and donors, instructors and mentors, we can empower our children to potentially change the trajectory of their lives.
